Hailsham Bonfire Society has successfully been awarded 3rd prize for the best dressed society by the Sussex Association of Bonfire and Carnival Societies.
HBS attended many out meetings during the 2009 bonfire season and on a number of occasions prizes were awarded to both the society and individual members for our Victorian costumes.
As this is only our 5th year since the society was reformed, it is a great achievement to receive this award.
