Annual Bonfire Dinner 2008

The annual Bonfire
Society dinner was held at the George on Saturday 15th March. After a
fine 3 course meal, Rose and Lynn were presented with bouquets and
thanks for all the time and hard work they have both contributed over
the past year for the society. This was followed by a showing of Roger
Bristow's DVD of the Hailsham bonfire celebrations last year and 2
further short films of Cliffe bonfire society's events from the 70's and
80's, provided by Jim. A great evening that was enjoyed by all those
attending
