Annual General Meeting
HBS held their AGM in January and discussed the forthcoming year and vote in our committee. The overall success of the society is built around its members and there is no shortage of support to make the magic happen. We voted in our new committee and captains, some old and some new, and started the planning for 2025.

HBS BONFIRE CELEBRATIONS
Following on from the success of the 2024 celebrations we are now in the planning stages for the 2025 event. This will take place on 18th October 2025 with HBS leading the torch lit procession through the town and then a fantastic bonfire and firework finale at our firesite on Western Road Recreation ground. This event takes a great deal of preparation and funding, do you have an interest in joining us? Visit our membership page for details of how to do this. 2025 planning underway!
With the AGM out the way and a number of changes, the committee are now planning various fundraising events to fund this years celebrations.
We are pleased to announce following the success of last years Flaming Funday, an even bigger event to take place on the 29th June 2025 at our Firesite on the Western Road recreation ground. Further details will be announced in the next few weeks!

Welcome to the 2025 New Committee
Following a very well-attended AGM last month, HBS is in fine form and looking forward to this year’s various fundraising events in the run-up to HB25. Many thanks to those who have taken on their new roles and also to those that have decided to take a back seat for a well-earned rest!
