On 21 November 2025 HBS presented 2 cheques to their chosen charities for this year, Inspire Sussex and Children With Cancer at the Crown Public House in Hailsham, thanks to the Crown for their continued support to our society. Both charities are close to our hearts as we have society members who are supported by them, in addition the work they both do to support those in the community is amazing. Both were given cheques for £650 and were collected by both members and volunteers of the charities on their behalf. Our Chairman, Bob Sandalls, and members of the Bonfire Society were at the presentation, we thank Paul Gibson from Hailsham News for the photos. We continue to support local charities and initiatives across the area and always looking for support from local businesses and residents alike.
