With the bonfire season starting next week we are happy to announce that our fundraising charities for our October event are:
OUT OF THE BLUE
Out Of The Blue is a fundraising body established in memory of Will Beckett who took his own life at Beachy Head in January 2013, at the age of 42. This tragedy came as an incredible shock for his family and friends – it came simply ‘Out Of The Blue’.
Out Of The Blue raises money to support the charities who supported and guided the family so now – “Out Of The Blue raises money to support these charities so they can help others like us”
PARKINSON’S HAILSHAM BRANCH
Our group offers friendship and support locally to people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers. We’re the charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Activities Include social events and a local singing group, plus access to regional programs like specialised hydrotherapy.
As a society we believe it’s so important to support local charities to ensure that they continue the great work that they do.
Look out for the charity street collections on the evening of HBS Bonfire Celebrations, Oct 17 2026, and give generously. We and the charities thank you in advance 👍
