  • HAILSHAM BONFIRE NIGHT GIVEN GREEN LIGHT!

Following various consultations with local authorities and the emergency services, we are pleased to confirm that Hailsham’s Guy Fawkes Festival of Fire Celebrations will be taking place on the 16th October 2021.

Our membership has worked exceedingly hard behind the scenes, in what has been a very short few months of fundraising opportunities since the relaxation of all restrictions.

We have had to scale back on certain elements to ensure this years event would go ahead, to this extent the firework element has sadly had to be sacrificed somewhat and hopefully for this year only reduced to a ‘Firework Finale’ at the end of the evening.

Our Bonfire Night Programme has also taken on a simplified format and these will be available within the next couple of weeks in return for a small donation!

We still have plenty to do on the run up to our night, any further offers of support both financially and physically would be gratefully received.

    Please email us on: hailshambonfire@aol.com

We look forward to seeing you all on the 16th Oct 2021 for what is now the biggest night in the Hailsham Calendar!

  • NEW HEADQUARTERS FOR HBS

We’ve returned to our old roots!

The current committee have accepted the landlords kind offer to allow us to host our monthly meetings at his Pub the Grenadier in Hailsham, this was the location of our founding meetings all the way back in 2005!!!

Many thanks for your support Malcolm…….
