Family Flaming Fun Day Planning

Our regular society members spent time at our monthly meeting planning our Flaming Fun Day.
This event will be help on Sunday 29 June on Western Road Recreation ground. This will be a fantastic event with Music, Bar, stalls, displays and much much more. If you have a stall and would like to be part of this day and help us raise the funds needed to hold our annual bonfire event. then let us know. Annual General Meeting

HBS held their AGM in January and discussed the forthcoming year and vote in our committee. The overall success of the society is built around its members and there is no shortage of support to make the magic happen. We voted in our new committee and captains, some old and some new, and started the planning for 2025.

  • 2025 HBS Bonfire Celebrations

    On October 18 2025 HBS hosted their Guy Fawkes and Fireworks spectacular. The business of preparing the bonfire and making sure that everything was ready stated early on Saturday morning at 7am….. Our fantastic society members were all ready to help out on what is a very long day.
    With 17 visiting societies and 4 fantastic bands the night was an amazing success. Support was offered from other societies and we really appreciated it as this helped us make our event as successful as it was. The event hosted a record number of visitors which shows how popular this is in the Hailsham calendar of events throughout the year. We are now looking forward to our event in 2026 which we plan to be even better than this one! Want to support then you can join the society by clicking on the link below.

  • 2025 Bonfire Season……

    We are only a short time away from HBS Guy Fawkes Celebrations on October 18 2025! Society members have been busy putting together a great event programme for you all to enjoy. Whilst we have all been busy for our evening we have also been visitors to a number of local Bonfire events across Sussex. The society has a great deal of active members who attend these events and represent HBS, where needed we will support the host if needed.
